RESEARCH AREAS AND INTERESTS:

  • Animal welfare in fish farming

PRAN research group carries out studies on different aspects related to the production, nutrition, and welfare of a wide variety of animal groups for animal farming. Its integration into CEIGRAM focuses mainly on the development of the study on fish farming. The research group has a wide range of animal experimentation infrastructures, such as experimental aquaculture tanks, production and study sheds for laying hens, rabbits, piglets, and lambs. PRAN research group holds 2nd position within the UPM ranking list for research groups based on the overall quality of their research activities and productivity.
