The Sustainable Plant Production and Protection System Research Group comprises 14 researchers and consists of three research lines. The researchers’ multidisciplinary nature, which extends from plant physiology, phytotechnology, and microbiology, enables this Group to approach studies from different perspectives. Among the facilities related to the Group, you can find CATES (Accredited Centre for Seed Analysis and Technology), dedicated to the analysis and improvement of seed quality, and the Plant Protection Laboratory, which belongs to the Network of Laboratories of the Madri+d system, where researchers work on the detection, diagnosis and epidemiological studies of fungi and phytopathogenic bacteria.
