For the last three years, the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid has been one of the venues for the EIT Climate-KIC Journey, the largest summer school in Europe in innovation and entrepreneurship to face the challenges posed by climate change. The Journey offers a unique combination of academic study and real-world experience through a multidisciplinary program organized by the best universities in Europe.

In this context, each year around 400 participants, divided into ten journeys, visit more than 20 cities in Europe, each Journey visiting three different European cities and following a full-time four-week intensive study program.

CEIGRAM, with the support of itdUPM and the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Agronómica, Alimentaria y de Biosistemas, is the UPM center in charge of planning and carrying out the Climate Journey in the city of Madrid.

During the 2020 edition, the Journey was carried out online, which was a challenge for the organization.

Who is it for?

This program, which is taught in English, is aimed at Bachelor, Master, Doctorate students and young professionals who have recently graduated from European universities who are dedicated or want to do innovative topics related to the fight against climate change. The entrepreneurial and innovative spirit of the applicants will be highly valued when evaluating the applications.

The students of the Universidad Politécnica Madrid who apply and are selected will be selected to participate in a Journey that will not include Madrid as one of the three cities.
