CEIGRAM has always been committed to internationalising research and training. One of its objectives is to disseminate Spanish experience in risk management and agricultural insurance. Proof of CEIGRAM’S vocation is their varying presencein more than 57 countries in 5 continents.

In the 12 years that CEIGRAM has been operating, its researchers have collaborated in more than 60 research projects with universities and agencies in other countries, directed 70 doctoral theses by students from over 12 different countries, and hosted100 master’s and postgraduate students’research stays from 31 different countries. It has supported several international governments and agencies by teaching them about the Spanish agricultural insurance system and studying how to implement a risk management system in their respective environment.
At CEIGRAM, an average of 52% of the funding for research projects has come from international sources since 2008.
