The event will focus on analysing the current situation and regulatory developments regarding areas vulnerable to nitrate leaching in Spain.<\/p>\n\n<p>The event will feature speakers from leading institutional and technical bodies, with presentations by representatives from the <strong>European Commission<\/strong> (DG Environment), the <strong>Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge <\/strong>(MITERD), the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) and the <strong>Tragsa-SEPI<\/strong> Group, which are responsible for monitoring nitrate levels in water at national level.<\/p>\n\n<p>The programme includes the following thematic sections:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The current status of the Nitrates Directive in the EU and next steps<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developments in Spanish legislation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitoring and evaluation of codes of good agricultural practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nationwide monitoring of nitrate levels in water<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Roundtable and open debate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Registration is <strong>free <\/strong>and can be completed via the <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/vf9tDG8qdpqocK798\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">REGISTRATION FORM<\/a>.
