Former Director of the Department of Phytotechnics (2012-2014). Post-doctoral training at the University of Melbourne, Australia; INRA, France; Escuela Agrícola Panamericana El Zamorano (Honduras).

Research in crop modeling, agricultural and agroforestry systems (dehesas) and climate change.

It is worth mentioning the creation of dynamic crop simulation models with the Vensim platform: Dehesa Model: agroforestry systems simulated model and MOCA v1.0 Model of Coffee Crop under Agroforestry.
