Collaborate with CEIGRAM

Our society’s challenges are complex; therefore, they require complex solutions that can only be tackled through collaboration between actors from different fields. At CEIGRAM, we want to facilitate opportunities for companies, administrations, and other agents in the sector to collaborate with CEIGRAM’s researchers to develop R&D+i projects and studies that respond to the challenges in livestock breeding and agricultural holdings; focusing on the areas of economic, social, and environmental sustainability, while progressing towards Sustainable Development goals.

From CEIGRAM, we can provide scientific-technological resources in four significant areas of research and innovation, such as the study of market and policy risks, biophysical risks and sustainability, the application of new technologies and data science, and circular bioeconomy. At CEIGRAM, we produce reports and provide specialised consultancy on defined problems; we also accompany you in designing and reviewing innovation-oriented business research studies. We provide installations and human resources for developing studies and product trials, while finding the best way to protect research results. We also help give visibility to the collaborative work in R&D+i through the Centre’s and the Technical University of Madrid’s communication unit, and we facilitate the search for public financial resources and help prepare R&D+i proposals.

A large number of CEIGRAM researchers participate in UPM collaborative initiatives. Among these are the UPMwater Platform, Africa Platform and Agriculture 4DS. UPMwater is a joint initiative of the UPM Water Research Groups. It shares research results and generates synergies to work on related topics, which has contributed to the creation of the UPM Water Research Map. The Africa-UPM Platform follows a multidisciplinary and multi-stakeholder approach. It has developed actions in the area of agriculture and livestock, water, energy, and habitability; it also supports the strengthening of research centres and universities in the African continent.

This section of CEIGRAM’s website is aimed at providing useful information to companies and agents in the agri-food sector who are interested in conducting research, development, and innovation projects in collaboration with CEIGRAM research groups.
