Collaborate with CEIGRAM

At CEIGRAM we want to facilitate opportunities for collaboration with companies, administrations and other agents in the sector, with CEIGRAM researchers, for the development of R+D+i projects and studies that allow us to respond to the challenges that arise in livestock and agricultural farms in the field of economic, social and environmental sustainability.

Specialised reports and consultancies

We offer consultancy on defined problems and assist in the design and review of innovation-oriented business research studies.

Equipment and human resources

We provide equipment for the development of studies and product trials, always seeking the best way to protect research results.

Visibility and Communication

Together with the UPM, we help to give visibility to collaborative work in the field of R&D&I, facilitate the search for calls for proposals and collaborate in the preparation of proposals.

Collaboration and research networks

A significant number of CEIGRAM researchers participate in UPM collaboration initiatives, including the UPMwater Platform, the Africa Platform, and Agriculture 4DS. They are also involved in research networks with various centers and interest groups, such as RUENA and the REMEDIA Network.

These initiatives promote networking and strengthen research through the synergies found in multidisciplinarity and diversity of approaches. They also enable greater knowledge transfer through interaction with sector stakeholders.

The REMEDIA and RUENA networks are scientific networks working to mitigate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in agriculture and the efficient use of nitrogen through the balanced integration of agricultural, livestock, and forestry systems. Through applied research, they have achieved results that can lead to significant reductions in pollution. The Agri4DS Community encompasses UPM Research Centers and Groups, addressing broader scientific and technological challenges for sustainable agricultural production.

Funding for Public-Private Collaboration

There are several sources of funding for industrial doctorates. On our website, you can find information about calls for proposals from the Community of Madrid and Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities.

Both calls are designed to support young researchers in developing research projects of interest to companies, while enhancing career opportunities for these young PHD holders. Additionally, the grants typically cover tuition fees and stays abroad.

International R&D&i programmes

The R&D&i Framework Programme is the largest source of funding at the European level. It funds interdisciplinary and multi-sector R&D&i projects, offering a broad range of tools that provide both international visibility and financial backing for public-private cooperation projects. Additionally, other international initiaitves, such as the PRIMA program, the LIFE+ program, and INTERREG, are increasingly focused on innovation, with university-business collaboration playing a key role.

CDTI grants for R&D&i

The centre for Technological Development and Innovation(CDTI) promotes innovation and technological development in Spanish companies through funding for the implementation of R&D&i business projects at both the national and international levels.

National Calls

The goal is to fund projects developed through collaboration between research groups and knowledge disemmination organizations (AEI group), as part of a coordinated R&D effort. Eligible projects for funding may include industrial research projects, experimental development projects or a combination of both. The project to be funded will be part of a coordinated effort involving two distinct groups: one made up of companies (CDTI group) and the other consisting of research and knowledge disemmination organizations (AEI group). For a project presented by the AEI group to receive funding in this call, it is required that the project be submitted by the CDTI is funded by them in the 2023 “Science and Innovation Missions” call under the TransMisiones 2023 initiative.

R&D Grants from the Community of Madrid Industrial Doctorates

The Community of Madrid is offering grants to enhance public-private cooperation in R&D&i by supporting technogical innovation projects with a catalytic effect developed by open innovation hubs in the Community of Madrid, within the framework of the Regional Research and Innovation Smart Specialization Strategy (RIS3).

Industrial Doctorate

The Community of Madrid and the State Research Plan publish annual calls for proposals across all fields of knowledge to support industrial PhD projects through funding for pre-doctoral contracts and funds for the development of the industrial project. Proposals are submitted by companies in collaboration with research groups.

Consulting and transfer

CEIGRAM aims to create a platform for the exchange and transfer of technological and research outcomes through collaboration with public and private sector entities, fostering social, economic and environmental sustainability.

Within each area of expertise, you will find information summarizing the range of scientific-technological services offered, along with examples of completed projects.
