Morris Villarroel Robinson, Biochemistry graduate and PhD in Biology from McGill University (McGill University, Montreal, Canada), is Full Professor at ETSIAAB-UPM and a specialist in animal welfare in several species but mainly with fish.

Has been President of the Spanish Society of Aquaculture (SEA, years 2009-2011) and is secretary of the Spanish Union of Animal Science Entities (UEECA) and of the Spanish Society for the Protection and Welfare of Animals (SEPROBA).
