Villeta López, María

Associate Professor

Degree in Mathematical Sciences, specializing in Statistics and Operations Research. PhD from the Universidad Nacional a Distancia (UNED). She currently teaches at the Faculty of Statistical Studies in the subjects of Sampling Design and Quality Improvement.

Researcher associated with CEIGRAM Her research has focused on the application of various statistical methodologies in the area of process quality control and extreme weather events. In this line, she has developed control chart methodologies in the evaluation of extreme temperatures and droughts.
