Burción, Julia
Predoctoral Researcher
With a degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Biodiversity from the Autonomous University of Madrid, her research career has focused on studying the effects of climate change on different plant species. During her time at Wageningen University & Research, she became interested in soil–plant interactions and their role in ecosystem functioning.
She joins CEIGRAM with the aim of taking an integrated approach to the study of saline soil dynamics, soil-plant relationships and greenhouse gas emissions in relation to agricultural systems.
In the future, she would like to study the climate impact of these interactions.
