
Vallesa García, Ailuros
She holds a degree in Agricultural Sciences and Bioeconomics from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Agro-Environmental Technology for Sustainable Agriculture. Her education has equipped her with multidisciplinary skills and approaches in the fields of agronomy and sustainability.
With a keen interest in soil-plant dynamics, she has had the opportunity to undertake work placements in regenerative agriculture and soil health trials, gaining hands-on experience in setting up experiments, soil analysis, bioindicators and research. In this context, she received the Fertinagro Biotech Chair Award for the best final degree project on Soils and Agri-Food Systems: Regenerative agriculture to improve soil health in extensive arable crops (https://oa.upm.es/91551/).
She is currently part of the ATLAS project (Analytical Tools and Policies for Adapting Southern European Agriculture to Climate Change), with the aim of expanding his knowledge of extensive livestock farming in the Iberian Peninsula and developing new skills in bioeconomic analysis using complex indicators.
