Agricultural Economics and Natural Resource Management
The Agrarian Economy and Natural Resources Management group participates very actively in scientific and technical research projects granted, fundamentally, in competitive public calls. Likewise, it collaborates in public-private projects, through university-business linkage mechanisms, and provides advice and specialized knowledge to international organizations, associations, agricultural professional organizations and other institutions and companies. It works both nationally and internationally, especially in European projects, but also has extensive work experience in developing countries in the southern and eastern Mediterranean, Asia, Latin America and Africa. The group organizes and teaches specialization and improvement courses, postgraduate courses, seminars, conferences and other activities of a similar nature. Furthermore, in the teaching field, they are involved in educational innovation and research experiences promoted by the UPM.

Full ProfessorFull Professor of Economy and Agricultural Policy at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). She is currently the Director of the Centre of Research and Studies for Agricultural and Environmental Risk Management (CEIGRAM). She also leads the Agricultural Economics and Natural Resource Management Research Group.
She has over 30 years of research experience. Her work focuses primarily on the analysis of agricultural policy, rural development and risk management. She has published more than 50 research works, including articles and book chapters, many indexed in the JCR- She has participated as a researcher and/or principal investigator in over 20 national and international competitive projects and has contributed to over 30 significant contracts with public institutions.
