Profesor Titular de UniversidadMorris Villarroel Robinson, Licenciado en Bioquímica y Doctor en Biología por la Universidad de McGill (McGill University, Montreal, Canadá), es Profesor titular de la ETSIAAB-UPM y especialista en bienestar animal en varias especies pero sobre todo con peces.
Ha sido Presidente de la Sociedad Española de Acuicultura (SEA, años 2009-2011) y es secretario de la Unión Española de Entidades de Ciencia Animal (UEECA) y de la Sociedad Española de Protección y Bienestar animal (SEPROBA).
