PhD in Viticulture from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

She has conducted research on vineyard irrigation, contributing to the development for vineyard irrigation in the DO Vinos de Madrid and studying grapevine varieties from an agronomic perspective. In this line, the PEVIMEN project (2017-2021) was developed on the agronomic response of minority varieties in warm areas. It has also addressed the issue of the low sustainability of a large part of the Spanish vineyard in warm areas, concluding that minimum pruning could be a way to increase efficiency in water use and increase the sustainability of the sector, but it implies a paradigm shift in vineyard management, eliminating scientifically unjustifiable prejudices and the digitization of viticulture.

With the SENSOLEOVID project, the line of research in precision viticulture was opened, aimed at evaluating the water status of the vineyard. The results of this project are the publications Tarquis et al. (2019) and Espartosa et al. (2019) and Camacho et al. (2020) which demonstrate the usefulness and limitations of the indices obtained with a multispectral camera and CWSI to determine the water status of olive groves and vineyards respectively.

Currently, it has two projects underway, the first, GO VID-EXPERT on calculating the carbon footprint in wine vineyards and recommendations to reduce it and the other, BigPrediData, for the study of yield prediction in wine vineyards.

Occasionally, it carries out viticultural advisory and consultancy work.
