Her research has been based on the agronomic study of fruit trees, especially grapevine, olive and pistachio. In these species she has studied water relations in terms of optimizing water use to achieve high productivity and good fruit quality, through measurements of tree physiological parameters and in the determination of soil water content; she has also carried out fertilization trials in grapevine and olive trees to study their effects on the trees, and has studied parameters to characterize the hedgerow of these two species.
