Montoya, Mónica
Assistant Professor
Graduated in Food Science and Technology from UCLM in 2014, earned a Master’s in Molecular and Cellular Plant Biotechnology from UPV in 2016, and obtained her PhD in Agro-environmental Technology from UPM in April 2020.
Her teaching and research career focuses on agronomy and soil microbiology. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Food Technology at ETSIAAB-UPM. Her research lines focus on the effects of fertilisation on greenhouse gas emissions and its influence on microbial communities involved in nitrification and denitrification processes, as well as improving crop yield and nutritional quality.
