Associate Professor at the University, he has combined his teaching and research work with external professional activities such as Technical Head of Fungicides for Spain and Portugal at the multinational agrochemical company Syngenta (2012-2015), and as Director of R&D (2006-2007) at the company Cryoprotector & Biotechnologies with a Torres Quevedo contract.

He currently leads several R&D studies and projects linked to private companies. His main line of work focuses on biometeorology, specifically on the relationship between plants and low temperatures, evapotranspiration, and energy balances in crops.
