PhD in Agricultural Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (2015) and a Magister in Program and Policy Evaluation from UCM (2010-2012).

Her specialization is related to climate change adaptation, disaster risk management, particularly droughts, and the evaluation of livelihoods and good agricultural practices in developing countries, mainly in the Latin American region. She also focuses her research interests on the promotion and measurement of sustainability and the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda through the design and development of assessment methodologies and indicator systems.

She has collaborated with several organizations at international and national level, such as FAO, SEGIB, AECID, among others, non-governmental organizations, local public administration and private companies as a consultant, advisor or project manager.
