Agricultural Economics and Natural Resource Management

The Agrarian Economy and Natural Resources Management group participates very actively in scientific and technical research projects granted, fundamentally, in competitive public calls. Likewise, it collaborates in public-private projects, through university-business linkage mechanisms, and provides advice and specialized knowledge to international organizations, associations, agricultural professional organizations and other institutions and companies. It works both nationally and internationally, especially in European projects, but also has extensive work experience in developing countries in the southern and eastern Mediterranean, Asia, Latin America and Africa. The group organizes and teaches specialization and improvement courses, postgraduate courses, seminars, conferences and other activities of a similar nature. Furthermore, in the teaching field, they are involved in educational innovation and research experiences promoted by the UPM.
