Full Professor and Researcher at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), with extensive experience in bioeconomic analysis techniques. Senior Researcher at the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission from 2008 to 2010.
Her research focuses on the economic analysis of public policies, particularly on the agriculture-environment nexus and its implications for sustainability. With extensive international experience in the development and application of agro-economic models (e.g., CAPRI), she is a member of several international modelling consortia and frequently collaborates with national and international organisations (MAPA, European Commission, OECD, etc.) in the areas of policy analysis, circular bioeconomy, and the water-energy-food-ecosystem nexus.
Her goal is to combine frontier research in agro-environmental economics with the strategic development of bioeconomic models that contribute to the design of policies and strategies for the transition towards sustainability.
